Operations Assistant

Mia Burton is searching for an Operations Assistance who will actively contribute to the management of orders. In our E-commerce company specialized in fashion eyewear, customer satisfaction is at the center of every reason and strategy. Which means that the timely and punctual management of orders is key to our success. 

We’re looking for an enterprising, curious,  results-oriented person to team up with our Operations Team at our Palermo office and help raise the bar for our logistics services. The ideal candidate is a quick thinker and doesn’t take anything for granted; they are attentive to details, able to find new opportunities for improvement even in the most consolidated processes. “Precision” is their middle name, and “collaboration” is their mantra.

What you’ll do

 

  • Support the Operations Team in the order fulfillment process 
  • Produce transport and export documentation
  • Order invoicing 
  • Warehouse coordination.

 

What we consider essential 

 

  • Experience using Management Software
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel 
  • General accounting skills
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail in order to handle high volumes of information 
  • Accuracy and punctuality in the periodic reporting of activities
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • An ability to manage uncertainty and to work in a quickly-moving environment
  • Proactive, curious and enthusiastic attitude
  • An openness to sharing information and useful information with team members
  • Excellent knowledge of English.

 

What we’d love

  • Previous experience in e-commerce companies
  • Experience with creating and managing shipping documents.
